The school is financed through tuition fees charged to parents of the students and donations made by supporters of Christian education. The Provincial Government under the Independent School Act provides grant assistance. Annual fund drives and fundraising events are held to aid in the capital expenses, and special events.
Tuition Fees for the 2010-2011 School Year
NOTE: There is a 50% reduction in tuition fees for the 2010-2011 school year for NEW families. The 50% reduction applies only to tuition fees and not bus fees. Bus fees are still payable monthly by families who take advantage of the bus service.
Payment of the full applicable annual tuition fee is an option, or we offer two payment plans where families can pay tuition over 10 months or over 12 months. Those families choosing the 10 month plan, the tuition year is August 1 to May 1. For families choosing the 12 month plan, the tuition year is July 1 to June 1.
We request that tuition be paid by cheque(s) (post dated for the first of each month if paying on a monthly basis) in advance for the complete year and submitted by the first day of August (10 months) or July (12 months). Students away for extended periods of time are still required to pay full tuition fees.

Our Fee Schedule has been established to obtain a consistent standard of income with which to improve the quality of our children's education on an ongoing basis. In the interest of fairness and to clearly establish the Society's purpose as an educational organization, these fees are firm for all persons using the services of the society.

Occasional users will be charged per trip for use of the bus. Contact the office for the per trip cost and to make arrangements.
Tax Receipts
Donations Monetary and material (Gifts in Kind) donations are eligible to receive an official charitable receipt for income tax purposes. (Please note that Gifts in Kind do not include a gift of services).
Tuition The portion of your tuition that is receiptable varies from year to year. A receipt is calculated for the religious portion of tuition paid in a calendar year.
Occasional Costs
From time to time students are required to participate in special projects or events which necessitate additional funds. These costs are usually minimal and we try to cover them with student fund raising, but occasional costs may be warranted. These payments may be non-refundable.
Bursary (Tuition Assistance)
It is our philosophy that Christian education should be available to all children. It is our goal to pursue this and hopefully in co-operation with the parents make this a fair and beneficial arrangement for both parties involved. If you need information on financial assistance contact the office. Only upon written appeal to the Board of Directors will there be consideration for an exception to paying the required fees, and those parents may be asked to meet with the Finance Committee and a tuition contract will be established according to the financial status of the family. Missionaries, pastors and others in full time service to the Lord are encouraged to avail themselves of this provision if needed.
Re-registration Fee (non-refundable)
A $200 re-registration fee is charged each family to ensure that your children's spaces in school for the next year are confirmed and to help us treat fairly those families on waiting lists. Failure to pay the fee will mean that your children's names will not be kept on the enrollment list for the Fall.
10 Month Plan (August 1- May 1) The $200 fee is due June 1 each year together with the re-registration forms. The $200 will be applied to the second month’s tuition.
12 Month Plan (July 1 - June 1) The $200 re-registration fee is not required due to payment of tuition/bus fees being received in July/August. Of these payments $200 will be considered to be the re-registration fee if the student(s) are not enrolled in the September. Re-registration forms are due June 1 each year.
Outstanding Fees
Families who do not remain current with tuition fees are given a 1-month grace period after which students may not attend school until arrears are paid in full. Early communication with the office is important in cases of financial difficulties. Any past due payments not received by the last school day of the year regretfully result in your child's name being taken off the class list and those on the waiting list added.
