Grade 10-11 Fundraiser

Grade 10-11 students are holding a hot dog sale at Quality Foods, Comox, to raise $$ for Highland Secondary's 10 for 10 Project. The Highland grads are supporting 10 Ugandan students through their high school education. Help us to help them! Come by QF from 11-4 to buy a hot dog!

1^st Annual CVCS Speech Contest

Congratulations to the five participants who successfully presented their speeches for three Comox Toastmasters judges and students on May 26th. The first place prize went to Taaylor Schreurs (gr. 6) who spoke on the theme of body image. Second place went to Shaelyn Spowart (gr. 7), third place to Lynae FitzGerald, and participation awards and prizes were awarded to Sierra Krug and Anika Millar for their well presented speeches. The judges noted how accomplished they all were in the writing and presenting of their speeches! Well done, girls.

Last day of School

Celebration time! The last day of school is a ½ day- finishing at 11:45. School bus students will need to be picked up at their bus stop 3 hours ahead of schedule. Have a great and SAFE summer! See you next year.

Used Uniforms

Get them while you can! We have some gently used uniforms for sale at the office.

Pants- 2 x size 8

Shirts- Short sleeve- 2 x Large, 16, 7-8

Fleece Jackets- 2 x Small

Also, we have lots of uniform pieces and other odd things in out LOST and FOUND. Some are labeled with names and some not. Come to the office from 8:15- 3:30 Monday to Friday.
