There are a wide variety of events that take advantage of the area that the school is located in. As a sample; there are beach days, Mt. Washington ski / snowboard days, hikes, museum and library trips, Victoria trip for grades 10-11, grandparent days as well as various activities and projects organized by each class and teacher.

Awards & Academic Honour Roll

Academic Honour Roll
The Academic Honour Roll is established to recognize and commend students who have attained a high standard of academic achievement in Grades 6-11. Honour roll standing is based on grades earned in each report period, according to the following standards:

First Class Honours
  • All A's in the core subjects: Bible, English, Math, Science, Social Studies
  • No failing marks or I's (In progress) in any other subject.
Honours
  • Four or three A's and one or two B's in the same core subjects as above.
  • No failing marks or I's (In progress) in any other subject.




End Awards

  • The "Timothy Award" (2 Tim. 2:15) is given to the top academic student in each grade.
  • The "True Yokefellow Award" (MT. 25:21) is given to the student who displayed the most Christ-like behaviour in each classroom.
  • Scripture Memory Awards are given to students that have memorized the required scriptures. Grades 1-5 receive certificates and Grades 6 to 11 receive medals.
  • A Sportsmanship Award is given to the boy and girl in each class in recognition of excellence in athleticism and sportsmanship.
  • A Most Improved Student is given to the student in each class (for Grades 1-5) that has shown the most academic improvement.
  • Other awards include Perfect Attendance and Honourable Mention.
